Operations
No.
ScootRig is designed as off-road utility equipment for moving cargo. Do not carry passengers in the cargo bed or allow anyone to ride anywhere other than an approved operator position.
Requirements depend on where and how the cart is used.
ScootRig is intended primarily for private-property and other permitted off-road use. Registration, insurance, licensing, operator-age, equipment, and access requirements vary by jurisdiction.
Check local laws and property rules before operating on public roads, public beaches, trails, parks, or other regulated areas.
ScootRig controls are designed to be simple, but every operator must read the manual and practice before carrying a load.
Begin at the lowest speed in an open, level area.
Up to 15 MPH, depending on model, load, terrain, grade, battery condition, tire pressure, and operating conditions.
Use lower speed settings around people, buildings, animals, obstacles, slopes, and tight work areas.
The TC-1000 and BC-1000 are rated for payloads up to 1,000 pounds when operated according to the owner’s manual.
Never exceed the payload printed on the cart’s model and identification label.
The hydraulic dump model must be advertised and operated according to its specific production rating.
ScootRig includes high- and low-range controls to improve control and torque under load.
Safe hill performance depends on:
Grade.
Surface.
Traction.
Payload.
Load distribution.
Battery condition.
Tire pressure.
Operator skill.
Direction of travel.
Avoid side-hill operation, excessive grades, unstable ground, sudden turns, and unsafe loads.
Contact ScootRig before purchase if your property has unusually steep terrain.
ScootRig is designed for common off-road surfaces, but no machine can guarantee performance in every condition.
Deep mud, loose slopes, deep snow, very soft dry sand, standing water, ice, and unstable ground may exceed safe operating conditions.
The BC-1000 uses wider tires designed specifically to improve flotation on soft sand.
