ScootRig Customer Policies
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern use of scootrig.com and purchases from ScootRig LLC. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and the itemized terms presented at checkout.
Effective date: September 4, 2026
1. Products and Orders
ScootRig sells the Transport Cart TC-1000, Hydraulic Dump Cart DC-1200, Beach Cart BC-1000, and compatible accessories or upgrades. Your cart, checkout, and order confirmation identify the products, quantities, prices, discounts, taxes, and available shipping or freight charges included in your purchase.
An automated confirmation acknowledges that we received your order. ScootRig may contact you to confirm configuration or delivery details and may cancel or hold a transaction involving payment failure, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, product unavailability, a prohibited destination, or a legal or regulatory concern. Any canceled transaction is handled under the Refund Policy and applicable law.
2. Pricing and Payment
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and may exclude sales tax, freight, delivery surcharges, liftgate or remote-area service, assembly, installation, registration, permits, or separately selected accessories unless shown in the order summary.
Payment is collected at checkout through an authorized payment provider. Financing or installment options, when displayed, are offered by third parties, are subject to eligibility and approval, and are governed by the provider’s terms. ScootRig does not guarantee approval or availability of a particular payment method.
3. Production, Shipping, and Delivery
Orders placed today are estimated for delivery by March 2027. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date. Production, component availability, freight scheduling, weather, destination access, and other conditions may affect timing. We will provide updates as your order moves through production and shipping.
The customer must provide an accurate address, confirm freight access, be available for scheduled delivery, inspect the shipment, document visible damage, move the cart from the curbside delivery point when applicable, and follow setup instructions.
4. Product Information and Changes
We work to keep descriptions, images, prices, and specifications accurate. Images may show prototypes, optional equipment, or accessories. Minor design or component improvements may occur during production. Final specifications are those shown on the product label, owner’s manual, and purchase documents. We will not materially reduce the ordered product’s function without notifying affected customers.
5. Intended Use and Operator Responsibility
ScootRig carts are off-road utility equipment for moving cargo on private property and other locations where their use is permitted. They are not passenger vehicles. Operators must read the owner’s manual, inspect the cart before use, secure and balance cargo, stay within the rated payload, use appropriate protective equipment, and follow local law.
Do not carry passengers in the cargo bed, operate on public roads unless expressly legal, allow untrained operators, use the cart while impaired, submerge electrical components, or modify safety, battery, braking, steering, electrical, or speed-control systems. Use only approved accessories and reduce speed around people, animals, obstacles, slopes, and buildings.
6. Model-Specific Safety
Hydraulic Dump Cart
Stop on stable ground before raising the bed. Keep people clear, check overhead clearance, never drive with the bed raised, and never work beneath a raised bed without approved mechanical support.
Beach Cart accessory power
Use the BC-1000 accessory-power system only within its published ratings. Do not exceed 1,000 watts of continuous AC load or the inverter surge rating; connect damaged or unsuitable equipment; use exposed wiring; operate in standing water; defeat circuit protection; or leave powered accessories unattended.
Battery and charging
Use only a ScootRig-approved charger and follow all charging instructions. Do not charge damaged batteries, use damaged cords, alter battery wiring, short terminals, charge in standing water, or create sparks near charging batteries. Recycle batteries under applicable law.
7. Two-Year Limited Warranty
Every new ScootRig cart includes a 2-Year Limited Warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential and commercial use. Covered factory-installed components include the structural frame, electric motor, motor controller, charger, hydraulic system on the DC-1200, and factory-installed electrical components.
The warranty does not cover normal wear items; cosmetic wear; environmental fading or corrosion; or damage caused by misuse, abuse, overloading, collision, neglect, improper maintenance or charging, unauthorized modification, unapproved accessories, or water submersion. Contact ScootRig before attempting a warranty repair. Complete claim procedures and limitations are provided with the cart or by our support team.
8. Returns and Refunds
Cancellation, return, freight-damage, and refund eligibility is governed by the Refund Policy. Do not send a cart, accessory, or upgrade without prior authorization.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Except for the express Limited Warranty and rights that cannot be excluded by law, products, services, and website content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScootRig disclaims other express, implied, or statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScootRig is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from a product, service, or website use. ScootRig’s total liability for a claim will not exceed the amount paid by the original purchaser for the product giving rise to the claim. These limits do not affect rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
10. Intellectual Property
The ScootRig name, logos, product designs, graphics, photographs, videos, manuals, text, software, and other site materials belong to ScootRig LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. Commercial copying or distribution requires prior written permission except where law provides otherwise.
11. Governing Law and Changes
These Terms and related disputes are governed by Utah law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, while preserving consumer protections that cannot be waived. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in products, services, business practices, or law. Completed purchases remain governed by the terms in effect when the order was placed unless law requires otherwise.
